MAFO is a non-political and non-governmental organization formed by certain interested and able young university graduates who have passions in the agricultural, education and health sectors in Sierra Leone. The organization was officially registered and lunched in 21st April, 2019 in the Capital Freetown.  

MAFO is a dynamic and decentralized constituting youth that are dedicated to provide knowledge to local women farmers on modern agricultural practices and enterprise development,  improving quality of schools, solving issues of inadequate materials in schools, advocating for the removal of corruption and fraud in schools, ensure that government and other partners invest in health system, management of preventable diseases, advocate for accountability for health for communities and quality of lives, we work with women who are organized into groups (cooperatives) for farming work for sustainable livelihood, poverty alleviation and boost local economy growth and enhance the quality of education and healthy living standards.  

We work with children, marginalized and under privileged persons for community development, currently over 2000 women have been selected to be formed into cooperatives, which is a key driver for sustainability for rural development.
