Falaba District is among poorest areas of Sierra Leone it is home to 205,000 people, according to 2015 Housing and Population Census, the district is border with the Republic of Guinea, Falaba is one of the largest district in Sierra Leone in land area size but the least populous District in the country, the largest Town is Bendugu, other towns among others include Mansofinia, Falaba, Sikunia, Krubola.
